The Bowyer is a work buildings under the "crafting" sub-category. Wood and leather are used to make bows. As one would expect, the importance of bows being made are so that soldier citizens can be archers and have a chance to attack enemies from range. There are two components to the building: the required work bench which allows more employees to work there the more benches there are, and the optional auxiliary station, which adds speed and efficiency to the crafting of the bows.
Because bows need arrows to be fired, another workshop is needed: the Fletcher, which creates something to hold all of an individual's arrows.
