Schools are an unlockable infrastructure building, under the sub-category of knowledge. This building increases the education stat of children citizens, and works much faster than a university. What they learn as a child can carry over very well into their adult years, as it will give them a boost in productivity in nearly any job they work in. The method and efficiency of how education is gained depends on the species of the individual.
This is one of two school buildings, the other being the aforementioned university, which works only for adults. Schools cost 100 knowledge points to unlock, but costs 450 including the previous unlocks required beforehand.
