A Builder Outpost is an infrastructure marker that can be placed down on any open ground. Any unemployed citizen within its radius will prioritize any construction, clearing or tunneling nearest to the placed outpost. Employees can be chosen through the GUI of the outpost, with a limit of 20 citizens. The radius of the outpost can be customized.

Using haulers in tandem with builder outposts can be very helpful, as both a construction area will be provided with the much-needed building resources nearby.

"A builder outpost is a marker you put down where you can employ builders. Builders perform jobs such as construction, clearing or tunnelling. They prioritize the jobs closest to the outpost, or jobs that are prioritized."

• Despite the builder outpost being a marker and not a conventional building, the outpost is still categorized with other buildings.
