Fabric is a resource in Songs of Syx. It's created by processing and weaving cotton at a weaver. The two most prominent uses for fabric is making clothes at a textile tailor, and to add carpet components to some buildings, which will add efficiency and/or visual quality to them. Adding efficiency speeds up the process of producing resources.

The importance for making clothes stems from the fact that they can provide protection for citizens against extreme temperatures, and simply boost the self-esteem and happiness of the wearer. Due to cotton being renewable through cotton farms and breeding animals that produce it, fabric is also renewable by extension.

In-game description
