Sithilon Ore is an extremely rare and expensive resource in Songs of Syx. It can be obtained by building a sithilon mine or by trading. It is a very rare ore that can be found in the world. Unlike standard ore, cannot be smelted. Currently, the best uses of sithilon ore for the player is to accumulate a very high value in trading, as well as provide a small boost in happiness fulfillment. It can also be used to build a Temple of Athuri, as well as act as an offering to appease the said temple's god.
It is tied for having the highest trading cost along with jewelry. Sithilon ore is the one and only resource in the game that has a fulfillment statistic tied to it, this can be seen in the happiness GUI and clicking on "storage".
Sithilon ore is one of two resources that never spoil or degrade in any way, the other being gems.
