Armour (also spelled Armor in North America) is a combat resource that partially protects citizens from attacks. It's also used to as a building resource for guardposts. Armour is one of the more expensive resources in the game, as it requires a smithy to make them (as well as weapons) with coal and metal. Armour is also highly priced in trading.
