Opiates are an upcoming resource in Songs of Syx. They are not yet implemented, so both their use and method of obtaining are unknown. In real-life, opiates are obtained from plants that contain body-altering chemicals, which are then used to make narcotics. The resource and opiate plants are in the game files, but as mentioned before, can't be made of any use to the player.
