Drinks are an alcoholic, consumable food resource in Songs of Syx. They are obtained by brewing them in a distillery, grain brewery, or through trading. They will be served in any active taverns. The low cost of drinks make them very easy to obtain in trading, offering a good method of obtaining drinks if low on the resources needed to make them.
When making drinks in a distillery or grain brewery, it will cost three resources: fruit/grain (depending on the building), pottery and coal, making drinks one of the most resource-expensive resources in the game. As one could easily assume, citizens drinking enough drinks will get them drunk, which causes them to stumble around, do goofy things and lay down in an attempt to sober up.
Because fruit and grain can be recreated from fruit farms and grain farms, while pottery and coal are not renewable, drinks are only partially renewable.
