Bread is one of nine food resources in Songs of Syx. There are two methods of obtaining bread: having grain baked into bread at a bakery, and through trading. Gaining bread through trading is relatively easy, due to its very low cost. Because grain is renewable through grain farms, but coal isn't (which is needed to fuel the bakeries), bread is partially renewable by extension.

Cretonians highly favor bread, due to them being vegetarians. Like any other food, it can be prepared in meals in canteens and eateries.

In-game description

"Bread is a staple food, produced by bakeries."
