The Amevias are one of eight available species in Songs of Syx. They are an aquatic species, favoring water and shorelines. This means that, if the player embarks in an area with no water, it will be very difficult to attract any Amevia citizens. They are decent fighters, and are not a particular picky species in terms of managing happiness. Sadly, they are not very tolerant of other species.
They are one of the species in the game that can be chosen as a starting species. They are slow breeders. Their faces and sprites show that they have a reptile-fish hybrid build. They have sharp teeth and pointy tails, as indicated by their overhead sprites.
In-game description
Short description
"Amevias are all about fish and water. They will only tolerate to live near shorelines. Apart from that, they are easy going and tolerant. Good fighters."
Long description
"Amevias thrive when regularly surrounded by rivers, canals, and wells. They have an insatiable desire for fish. They are generally good-natured but they greatly prefer to only be among their own kind. Amevia will fight against oppression and are not submissive. They are unique in their ability to handle Globdein ranching."
