Cotton is a relatively common resource in Songs of Syx. It can be collected through harvesting wild cotton plants, building cotton farms, butchering animals that can produce cotton and through trading. Cotton is used to make fabric, which is then used to make clothes. So cotton is important for keeping citizens clothed, which boosts their self-esteem.

Building a weaver provides a place where cotton can be turned into fabric.
