There are three types of walls: palisade, stone wall and grand wall. And there are three types of fences: stockade, stone fence and wood fence. During an attack from enemies, they will attempt to destroy any wall or fence impeding their way, however, the better the material used to make the wall or fence, the longer it will take enemies to destroy it.
The boundaries of pastures will have a wooden fence by default, keeping the livestock inside.
