Riots can occur when a race's happiness is below 100%. The farther away happiness is from 100%, the greater the chance of a riot. Even though riots happen for a specific race, other citizens of other races can join in. Riots consist of berzerk, angry citizens mindlessly attacking and destroying anything near them, with others fleeing the chaotic scene. Even those who were previously part of the riot may begin to flee if they realize they are in more danger than they can handle.
