Mushrooms are a food source in Songs of Syx. They can be acquired from wild plants, mushroom farms and from trading. In trading, mushrooms are the most expensive food source in the game. If the player has a settlement in a temperate or warm climate, they won't be able to make mushroom farms.
If players cannot make mushroom farms, then trading will be the only method of obtaining mushrooms, which may prove to be mildly-to-somewhat difficult, considering the high price of mushrooms.
