Nobles are high-ranking citizens that oversee certain aspects of resource production or services, providing a performance to said jobs. There are five types of nobles that can be appointed: Master of Farms, Master of Battle, Master of Industry, Master of Mines and Master of Livestock. It is advised to select an occupation that suits their interests, depending on what race they are. For example, Cretonians prefer farming to industrial work, so making one a Master of Farms would be a good idea.
Any citizen can be made a noble, by clicking on them and choosing which noble title they'll have. Note the maximum limit of how many nobles the player can have is based on the settlement's level, which is determined by population. The amount of nobles that can be appointed according to which level is as follows:
- Chieftain - 1
- Lord - 2
- King - 3
- High King - 5
- Emperor - 12
