Raids are rushes from enemy citizens that are detrimental to the player's settlement. Raids can be triggered through an in-game timer, or when the player's settlement hits certain population numbers. If a settlement has citizens that are properly trained in combat, as well as having fortifications set up, a raid can be warded off. If the player has no form of defense, resources may be lost.
