Conscription is a GUI available to the player that allows armies to be created. Armies can be fully customized by the player in the following ways: armies can be given a unique name, the size of each army can be chosen, the species of each army can be chosen (and cannot be mixed, as one army must be a single species at a time), the amount of training each army must go through (which powers up an army, but requires more time and resources and lastly, the amount of battlegear each citizen wears within each army.
Note that citizens can not be made to join an army right off the bat. Citizens who begin training start off as recruits, then after enough training, become soldiers. It is only when citizens become soldiers that they are allowed to join an army. For example, if an army has 20 soldiers, but the player increases that to 30, the player must wait for those extra 10 to be properly trained before joining said army.
